I’m very excited to announce that we now offer complete TV Kits! These kits will help increase first-time fixes, eliminate the apprehension of a misdiagnosis, and boost your spare parts inventory! We only have a few Vizio models right now, but we’ll be adding to our selection in the weeks to come. Let’s breakdown these TV Kits and what they’re all about…
1. Each TV Kit comes packaged with bubble wrap and parts are in individual ESD bags.
2. On the side of the box, you’ll see the parts included in the TV Kit.
3. Most kits include the main unit, power supply, and cables. All parts are harvested from new TVs and tested.
If you search “sj-kit” you’ll see our available TV Kits. We’ll be adding website features to make this search easier soon. It’s important to note that our policies are different for TV Kits. While they carry the same 180-day warranty as all ShopJimmy parts, there are NO RETURNS on TV Kits, as each part is fully tested. We’ve also priced them very fair, so discounts, customer group specials, shipping specials, and/or coupon codes DO NOT apply.

Tv works for 10 minutes then the black lite goes off. A flashlight proves video is still working. This unit uses a 220mf 450 wdc cap. Considering ordering all new caps from digikey. I am a tech. Do you have a NEW inverter or just a refurbished? Do you use premium low ers caps? Since your website is really slow I prefer we email then I’ll give you my number.
Why are you not selling RCA tv kits a lot of people like me that paid for rca tvs 3or 4 yeas ago have them in storage or just sitting around collecting dust and no way to find parts.

Ricky — Good idea. We’re adding more brands/models to our kits inventory, but at this time, I’m not sure if we’ll get our hands on RCA TV Kits. We did see your part request form, however, and will try our best to find what you need!
So if I need an 80.00 power supply you want me to spend 150.00 for the package and perhaps never use the logic or IR sensor board.
This could hurt your revenue guys.

Jeff — Not at all! We’ll still have individual parts and encourage you and everyone else to make the most economical decision for your business and/or the repair job.
We realize that these TV Kits are less applicable in certain situations, but we want to offer the option for those looking to increase their spare parts inventory or are uncertain about their diagnosis.
Simply, it’s us trying to create the largest, most flexible inventory we possibly can. We’d never try to upsell or corner our customers into a purchase that isn’t fair or valuable, and we apologize if it appears that way.

It would be extremely more efficient or easier to read I should say, if color used in your website were darker.
I strain my eyes to no end when trying to read and or type something. I just can’t see for the life of mine how anybody would choose these washed-out, lousy colors. Can’t even read what I typed. Maybe somebody with ‘bionic’ eyes can.

i just love your answer to Hector Andino. LMAO. I just wanted to order a pwr supply so was checking you out. When a complainer needs to resort to such a petty thing I thought you must be a very good company and went forward with my order. I will give a positive comment when my part arrives in working order. What else could I ask for?
I think the kits are a good thing,more oprions are always better,I am always looking to increase my spare part,it pays to have tester parts for those weird symptoms

but it’s better to include most of models and mark often used like : Sony,Samsung,Lg,Panasonic and so on…
That is the most fantastic idea especially for those of us who are so far away, where parts are not readily available. Please get those kits in Samsung, Toshiba, Akai and the many others. Brilliant.
