Oh, the irony…
…this might be taking our beloved game a little too far. While we’ve developed a new version of the game on conjoined conference tables (we call it “Long Pong”), the elimination of an opponent, table, fun, and ball seems odd to us. Check out the video below and let us know what you think!
Although this video is a touch long, if you’re really into LCD components and technology (like us!), Bill Hammack does a great job breaking down the intricacies of LCDs. Enjoy, techs!
If this 3DTV commercial from Bud Light is any indication of the future, we’re going to sell a lot of replacement TV parts!
Thanks, TWICE! Remember, drink both 3DTV beers and actual beers responsibly, folks.
“And there goes the tennis racket!”

Our good friend John at Preher-Tech Electronics Repair in Oregon (soon to be Seattle!) posted some great tutorials for those do-it-yourself, handy people out there (see: not me). I thought I’d post a few on our site, as we get a lot of calls with basic repair questions. For more TV repair videos and information from John, check out his YouTube channel and blog!
Please disregard the annoying background music. Cue the video to just before the 1:00 mark…
No LCD TVs were hurt in the making of this video. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I can say the same about the technician.
I used a small, handheld camera, so I apologize for the shaky camera work! It was definitely an exciting evening, and Jimmy’s speech was great. Enjoy!
Have you ever watched an internet video and, at 30 seconds, wondered, “This is kind of cool, but pretty weird. Why am I watching it?” Then, at a minute or more, you ask yourself, “This is getting weirder. Why am I still watching it?”
This is one of those videos. I’m not sure what’s going on in the background, but the concept is cool, I guess. Dubbed “LCD Bending,” it’s the process of pressing a finger on a LCD TV that’s turned on.
Oh, and by the way, to the creator of this video: we’ll gladly take that TV. :)
Starring (in order of appearance):
File this under: bad for Walmart, good for us.
In case you were wondering: no, we didn’t hire this guy.
