  • Be driven. We like people who don't mind getting their hands dirty.

  • Be a person who gets things done. Just (bleeping) do it.
  • Be an advocate for the greater good. Humility, helpfulness, and humor.

Current Opportunities at ShopJimmy

    - PHP/Magento Developer

    About the position:

Our dev team is a small group of (debatably) cool people who like to build software tools that simplify and improve processes and applications in our warehouse, office, and online. We are seeking a passionate programmer - perhaps with a self-taught mentality - who works hard and enjoys exploring the unknown. Of course, we also want someone who likes to have fun. We're all about the work-life balance.

    Our ideal candidate:
    • You can navigate a Linux server, install packages, set up Apache virtual servers, and administer MySQL databases.
    • We're looking for someone proficient in "object oriented programming (OOP)".
    • If you have Zend Framework 1 or 2 experience, that's a major plus.
    • C#, C++ or Java competency is also preferred.

To apply for this position, please email work[at]shopjimmy.com and include: the job title in the email subject line, a cover letter, and your resume.
