Then the screen just went blank while playing. Sound was fine. Backlight was good. Went to the Internet and found the cause, and of course Shop Jimmy had everything that I needed at a great price.

samsung 55" LED blank screen - Steven on July 19th, 2015

Samsung 55" LED w/ blank screen but intact audio and menu. watched diagnostic video's and changed the power and LED driver board w/o success. replaced T-con board next that fixed the problem. would have been easy $40 fix had I replaced the T-con first.

Samsung tv didn't power on unless unplug and plug back in - Madeline on July 18th, 2015

Samsung tech support couldn't help, suggested a repair shop. Replaced boards using part number, model info from ShopJimmy; part matched perfectly and TV works great! No problem with the website, cost reasonable, standard shipping arrived without delay.

Shop Jimmy made repairing my Samsung TV pretty easy - Jeff on July 16th, 2015

Back light kept turning off/on. Updated the firmware from the Samsung website, but that actually rolled it back to an older version. As a result the horrible "soap opera" effect would not turn off. Replaced the main board. All is good again.
