Mitsubishi DPL Lamp replacement - Jeff on November 26th, 2018

My Mitsubishi TV is 12 years old and gets LOTS of use. This is the third lamp that's burned out, so I'm averaging about 4 years/lamp. I knew the lamp was going as the screen was getting darker and when it went, I still got sound but no picture. Easy fix: remove one screw on the access panel, two screws on the lamp, and swap out for the new one.

Lamp replacement - Ken on June 22nd, 2017

I suggest replacing the lamp and holder rather than attempting to just changing the bulb. Super easy and no risk handling old or new bulb.
