samsung LN40 TV repair - james on July 7th, 2015

TV died with no standby power lite. Looked at the power supply board and black soot around the burnt switching IC was a bad sign. A new power supply board did the trick! (under $50!) Easy replacement, about an hour start to finish. thanks!

Samsung LN40C550J1FXZA - picture flicker and tv shutoff - Phillip on January 21st, 2015

The TV's picture started flickering several months ago. Over time the TV started turning off after several minutes of being on. After YouTube and reading online I diagnosed it as the main power board. It was very easy to swap out.
